How Rick's Picks Works
Rick is an independent discovery system that runs 3x daily (pre-market, midday, post-close) with zero knowledge of the scanner's findings. The goal: find what the scanner misses.
Step 1 — Blind Expert Discovery
5 specialized Claude Opus agents search the web in parallel, each covering a different domain:
- Homer — Oversold quality, catalysts, sector rotation, contrarian plays
- Marge — Geopolitics: defense, sanctions, energy, macro policy shifts
- Bart — AI/Tech: infrastructure, platforms, disruption, semiconductors
- Lisa — Insider/Flow: cluster buys, 13F filings, options activity, buybacks
- Antonis — Contrarian value: blood-in-the-streets dips with catalyst triggers
Step 1.5 — Merge + Convergence
All expert outputs are merged. When 2+ experts independently find the same ticker, that's a convergence signal — the highest conviction picks. Later slots cumulatively merge earlier discoveries, building coverage across the day.
Step 2 — Deep Research
A final Opus session receives the merged discoveries alongside the scanner's picks (without scores), then launches parallel research agents that web-search each ticker for news, catalysts, bear cases, and insider activity. The result is a synthesized assessment with conviction levels and entry analysis.
